Salta Governor Juan Manuel Urtubey led the inauguration of a bust of the hero Mariano Boedo in the homonymous square next Congressman José Vilariño.
“For Salta people is a great joy the recognition of an illustrious man from Salta, who was governor of the province, who have a prominent place in the Congress of Tucuman, he was Vice President and then presided when Congress came to Buenos Aires” said Urtubey in conversation with M24Digital.
In his opinion Boedo was “a man of law, a man who caused a major change in what it meant institutions in Argentina,” so the governor considered in this sense it is a “great joy that the neighbors have chosen this name for this public space.”
“Communion of the people of Salta and Buenos Aires is lived with great joy and great hope to know that we work together and pursue dreams that are definitely not geographic or geopolitics,” the governor added.
With respect to the primaries, Urtubey believes that “the people of Argentina almost without distinction, has raised strong support to President’s Office. Particularly in the province where the support was higher than the national average, it has given us a tremendous responsibility, so today the work ahead is long larger than we had before August.”
He revealed that he works for the votes of Cristina Fernandez are even more in October than they were in August. “I work to make it and I think the people of Argentina will accompany this project in October,” he said.
