Photographer Bill Biggart was killed when the second tower of the World Trade Center collapsed as a result of the biggest terrorist attack in history, on September 11, 2001 in New York.

The last photograph taken before his death, took place at 10.29 am, when the Marriott Hotel shattered by the collapse of the first tower. But Bill was killed when the second tower collapsed, which was determined by the position of his body found two weeks after the attacks.

His remains were found next to the items he carrying on that day: two cameras Canon EOS-1 and a D30.

While these were destroyed, a colleague was able to recover from the digital memory, 150 images that chronicle the work of a man killed by freezing the darkest moments in U.S. history.
