Rugby World Cup: Argentina was up, but England turned the score

In the debut of both the Rugby World Cup, Argentina was defeated by England 13-9. The”Pumas” were up 9-3, but missed seven penalties and the English got the try 15 minutes away to the end of the match.

The national group was obtaining a historic victory against the English with the penalties of Felipe and Rodriguez Gurruchaga. Wilkinson had scored for the opponents.

From that moment, being 9-3, the Pumas did not score again. Felipe had a penalty and Gurruchaga 6, all unconverted.

This was used by “The Rose” 15′ to the end (they had not been able to break the defense before) got the try from Ben Youngs and another penalty from Wilkinson, to go ahead by 13-9.

A bitter-tasted debut for Argentina, but a lot of hope as the team was responding to a set of high quality.
