Rafaela got a draw that could cost the top of the championship
September 9, 2011
Atletico Rafaela and Newell’s finished 0-0 in a match that had many goal situations, but for the safety of the goalkeepers the score was never opened.
At the first half Trullet’s team clearly dominated but could not achieve the difference. “La Lapra” could not find a good game, but it grew gradually and reached a more balanced play.
The second half was a tough struggle that gave a bitter taste to Rafaela who despite still in the lead with 13 points, a victory of Boca or Lanús could change the positions of the tournament.
