Hugo Bermudez was accused as the perpetrator of Candela murder

Hugo Bermudez, the sixth arrested for the crime of Candela Rodriguez was prosecuted in the case as the person who strangled the girl.

Bermudez, 53, a Peruvian national, was arrested yesterday by order of prosecutor Marcelo Tavolaro after the declaration of a witness with reserved identity, who would have identified him as the person who killed Candela.

According to news agency Telam, the witness would have said: “It is commented in the neighborhood that Hugo was who killed her, that he overdid it. Hugo knew Candela and her family and he had problems with them.”

And he added, “Hugo is one who traded (drugs) in the neighborhood, and in the week I saw him at the pink house, too.” Bermudez is intimately linked with the sale of drugs, police sources said.

The suspect lives in a house on 290 Avellaneda St., in Moron, which has already been raided by the police.
