Five people were arrested as suspicious of the murder of 11-years-old Candela Sol Rodriguez, police sources said.

Two of the detainees belong to the homes raided in Hurlingham on Friday. Gladys Cabrera would be the owner of the house at 992 Kiernan St., and Ramon Altamirano is the carpenter of 56 years of 1081 Charrúas St. Both are being held.

The other three arrested are the owner of a white van, dedicated to carry freight, which would have been used in the kidnapping, and two men who helped carry the furniture in the house.

Judicial sources reported that “genetic testing of traces collected in the homes was positive, indicating that Candela was there.”

Prosecutor Nieva Woodgate said, “The girl’s body was probably washed it.”

Apparently there was a ‘ritual’ kidnapping as one of the houses researches found items such as oil used in various religious practices and they had Candela’s DNA.

In the house of Mrs Cabrera, police found that the food given to dogs was the same had the child according the autopsy.

These are the arrested so far: Gustavo Valenzuela, 44, Alfredo Monteros, 75, (Gladys Cabrera’s father), Alfredo Monteros (junior) 36, Ramon Altamirano, 56, Gladys Cabrera, 41.
