September 5, 2011
The Buenos Aires stock did not escape the global trend and closed with a drop of 3.09%, while the dollar closed at the same value as last Friday, $ 4.24.
Only 3 companies listed experienced an increase. The declines were led by Tenaris (-4.25%), Pampa Energy (-4.14%), Banco Frances (-4.00%), Grupo FinancieroGalicia (-3.77%), Petrobras Brazil (-3 , 68%), Molinos Rio (-3.66%), Siderar (-3.17%) and Banco Hipotecario (-3.06%).
These setbacks are due to the global trend from Europe, where the IMF’s head, Christine Lagarde warned of the possibility of a recession.
