Luis Juez: “De la Sota is a terrible opportunist”

Argentina, September 4, 2011

Today, Luis Juez harshly criticized the elected governor of Cordoba, Juan Manuel de la Sota, after declaring that he’ll lower the list of deputies of the PJ, to support the list of the FPV. In the primaries, the ballot of the PJ and the FPV went separated in Cordoba, but the PJ had no candidate for president.

Thus, Juez said “we never ate the feints” in relation to the rumors of distance from the Casa Rosada with the PJ of Cordoba. He expressed “the fight between De la Sota and FPV was a lie, they only discussed for the vice-governor of the province”.

“He pretended to be distant from the national space, but we always said it was a lie and that the voters should not lose time listening him” said the senator and added “How are going to fight if they share business?”.

And the senator for Cordoba also argued “he is like a kangaroo, a terrible opportunist. That’s the story of his life”.

De la Sota decided yesterday at the closing date for candidacies, to lower his list of national deputies and support the list of the Front for Victory, which has Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner as president.

Carlos Caserio was the one that topped the list of Cordoba PJ, and had no candidate for president. In the primary elections, the list led by Caserio achieved the 7% of the votes, while the FPV achieved a 34% in that province.

The decision was announced through a statement signed by Caserio, who claimed to “ratify the support for the candidacy of the current President of Argentina and a candidate for reelection, Cristina de Kirchner, as the last Peronist Party Congress decided, under the decision of the Provincial Council”.
