Forest fire in Córdoba: People preventively relocated

The government ordered Cordoba certain preventive evacuation of populated areas bordering the forest fire in the hills. There would be 50 square kilometers compromised, according to the Minister of Government.

“The fire is very large, very complicated. There are 50 square kilometers [who are on fire], “said Carlos Caseiro. ”We are working with all of our operating resources,” he said.

In total, 500 firefighters were working, police officers, six air tankers (three supplied by thenational government and three provincial) and two helicopters.
