The Tango World Cup began in Buenos Aires

On the track Maria Nieves on the Exhibition Centre, before a large number of spectators, the Tango World Cup started with Salon and Stage categories.
Today the second day of qualifying continue where each pair make two presentations to be evaluated by a jury of five members of the Association of Teachers, Dancers and Choreographers of Argentine Tango, Milongas Organizers Association and the Chamber of Tango Houses Argentine Popular Music.
Between Friday 26 and Saturday 27 at the Exhibition Centre, and Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 at Estadio Luna Park, the semifinals and finals will take place of the World Dance ‘Tango Salon’ and ‘Stage Tango’.
According to the regulations, “If there is tie by determination of the jury, contestants will dance the necessary to make a final decision.”
The score is defined as the accumulation of points given by judges on a scale of 1 to 10.
