Rapist of the French tourists cofessed the crime

Argentina, August 20, 2011

After knowing the genetic evidence that blames him, Gustavo Lasi broke and admitted that he had sexually attacked one of the French tourists. But he also complicated two other defendants of the case, claiming that they were the murderers of the foreigners.

Surprisingly, Lasi had asked the Judge Martin Perez an extension of the investigation, which took place between 6.30 pm and 8.30 pm yesterday. There he expressed with details what happened.

Lasi is a casual guide of the Pak Quebrada de San Lorenzo and admitted raping Houria Moumni but denied killing her and her friend, Cassandre Bouvier.

In his statement, the 23-year-old said that Daniel Vilte Laxi and Santos Vera were the ones who killed the girls. A Santos Vera had in his possession a machete that is compatible with the wounds received by the French tourists.

Lasi said that along with Santos Vera and Vilte Laxia they had gone hunting and fishing and when they were coming back under the influence of alcohol, they saw the tourists and it was then when they attacked them. He said that the foreigners resisted, after which they were beaten and raped, but argued that he had nothing to do with the murders.

Judge Martin Perez released two of the defendants, Federico Canizares and Hugo “Pajarito” Ramos, while detained Walter Lasi, Gustavo’s father for having tried to hide the rifle, while the status of outfielder Raul Sarmiento was not yet clarified.
