A man murdered his wife of six shots because she was chatting with her alleged lover on Facebook when he arrived at the house in Lanús Oeste.

Renowned industrial technologist specializing in oil and gas pipelines, Juan Héctor Pared, 53, was returning from a business trip when his wife Monica chatted with another man who would become his lover and a bag prepared, which told him that she planned leave the house.

The situation triggered a heated argument that got out of all control. Pared’s anger erupted to the point that he took a .32 caliber weapon and without measuring repairs, triggered six times. After committing the crime he called his son and told him “he had done something wrong” and had planned to kill himself.

The young man quickly came to the house on 2840 Dean Funes St. and prevented the man to commit suicide, while he found his mother lying on the floor.

Pared’s lawyer claims that his client acted influenced by a fit of rage that then blocked his mind because not even remember calling his son. In fact he only can reconstruct the time his wife told him he had not the courage to do anything for her departure and took the revolver. Since then his mind went blank.

The marriage relationship was violent and they were separated in fact for several years. They slept in separate beds but live under the same roof.

Pared was arrested after the episode of anger and is accused of “aggravated homicide by the bond.”
