Presidential candidates closed their campaigns at days of the Primary elections. M24Digital shows you the most important of their speeches.
Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner
She was the first in finishing her campaign. She made an event in Coliseo theatre and highlighted Argentina present and the proposal for the future.
“This is a model of deep values. That family that was destroyed before the lack of jobs, solidarity and before the conviction of million of people who believed there was not a government which can defend them and protect them”.
“The great merit that he had [Néstor Kirchner] was to build in this devastated Argentina, the confident o people in their representatives, something key in order to the whole society can advance and grow”.
Hermes Binner
He closed the campaign of Frente Amplio Progresista Party in Luna Park theatre full of members of left wing.
“We have to nationalize the government because that means to incorporate the provinces, the representatives, the mayors; to know what country we want as it is fundamental for its construction. It hurts to know that we have a liar INDEC, that there is a 405 of work out of the system, that there are one million neither young people who do not work nor study, that there is a big inflation”.
Eduardo Duhalde
He gave for ended the campaign of his party Union Popular with a press conference
“Defend the people, not with charity but with laws. Nobody must believe that we are going to take from the poorest people. We must have a basic minimum income. This began before Lula. This government [kirchnerism] wants the money for another thing. It’s a government sit on liars that when it repeats constantly is cynical.
My rival is not Binner, Alfonsin or Rodriguez Saa, my opponent is Ms. President. And she will sin in some places and me in other ones. In October I will have an votes avalanche of 40%”.
Elisa Carrió
She gave a long speech among her vice-president candidate Adrian Perez.
“The poor bothers and sisters gave us big fist learning: they do not want a ideological tutelage, they do not want that the illustrated middle class form left wing tell them what they want. They want to be middle class; they want to go the same schools and have the same rights than those who form the middle class talk about poor people.
We also learned to reject the power temptations, from the opportunistic, from the doubters, from speculators. If we had taken them, if we had wanted just votes to reach power today we would be in the corruption of Duhalde, Kirchner and the UCR alliance”.
Adolfo Rodriguez Saa
He highlighted his achievements as San Luis province governor.
“If I am Argentina president I will build 6 millions houses in five years. We are going to end with housing deficit.
When I see malnourished children in Argentina in the north I want to put an example to the country, the example of Difunta Correa, she nursed her son even when she was already death. This is what we must do in Argentina, following the example of nurse our children in any circumstances”.
Ricardo Alfonsin
He criticized the current government and talked about his proposals as economy, education, etc.
“Our main commitment must be to fight against poverty in Argentina. To start a growing process, sustained, oriented to end with poverty, it’s not just a redundant expression. It is possible to grow and the same time poverty can grow, it is possible to grow and the same time inequality can grow. Our obligation is to start this growing process sustained in order to end with poverty”.
