Del Potro started off with the right foot in Montreal

Juan Martin Del Potro beat Jarko Nieminem at the start of the 1000 Montreal Masters. He won by 6-4 and 6-0.

The “Tower of Tandil” started off the competition with the right foot showing fast moves, simpleness and decision. Now, he will face whoever wins between Croatian Marin Cilic and Italian Andreas Seppi.

Nalbandian and Monaco did not share the fate of ”Delpo”

David Nalbandian could not have the same fortune that his fellow countryman. He fell 6-1, 6-4 to Swiss Stanislas Wawrinka and gave an early goodbye to the 1000 Montreal Masters.

Meanwhile, Juan “Pico” Monaco was defeated by Croatian Ivo Karlovic snugly. It was 7-6, 3-6, 6-7 and the farewell to the Canadian competition.
