Cristina Kirchner assured that national unemployment fell to 7.3%

Province of Buenos Aires, August 8, 2011

The president, Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, visited the factory of Coopershoes in the locality of Las Flores.

The president said that in that city unemployed persons came to be 35.5% and that today the rate is 5.5%, “below the national average.”

Speaking of such data, Cristina stressed that national unemployment fell to 7.3%.

She attributed part of that statistic to the policy of “industrialization” and “imports substitution”. ”This is one of 280 new industrial parks built since 2003,” she said.
