Martin Palermo, Boca Juniors’s top scorer, recently expressed his desire to coach the team and said he will go to see the matches but without the intent to put pressure. He also expressed his hope to see River back in the First Division.

The interview was done for the TV program “Estudio Fútbol”, where he made a review of his career and expressed his desire to be Coach.

“The start of the championship will be the first blow, because I’ll realize that I’m not there” said the former striker and added “I will be linked to football from the other side, I’ll follow it closely”.

And about Boca, Palermo said, “My team is in the need to find game and be a protagonist, with order and style with the players you have. I do not want to push and have zero speculative spirit. I’m going to see Boca but not to put pressure”.

Finally, he devoted a few words to River, who lives its worst football and institutional moment and said “the desire is to see River again in First Division. I hope they could come back soon”.
