Debt crisis: US Senate rejects the republican bill

United States, July 29, 2011

The Democrats rejected the proposal that the Republicans had raised from the House today. They will make a new bill to get the votes of both parties.

The Republicans MPs had approved a bill in the House of Representatives, meeting dissents within their own party, in which they proposed a US$ 900 billion budget cut, extending the debt limit in 2.5 trillion dollars.

The Democrats will now try to form a new project with characteristics such as needed for both parties to vote for it. It would pass the Senate at 8:00 am local time.
