Boudou announced the expansion of foreign sales of grain

Amado Boudou, Minister of Economy and vice presidential candidate with Cristina Kirchner, along with the Minister of Agriculture Julio Dominguez, today announced the expansion of foreign sales of grain. The measure benefits producers of Buenos Aires, Entre Rios and Santa Fe

The expansion of the exportable surplus will be of 450,000 tonnes.

Of the total, there are 150,000 tons from the province of Entre Rios and the remaining 300,000 tons are split between Santa Fe and Buenos Aires, said Boudou in a press conference given today at 1.30 pm.

Dominguez, meanwhile, said he expects the harvest of 2010-2011 to produce 14.7 million tonnes of wheat.
