Rummenigge: “Blatter is a king without kingdom”
Germany, July 25, 2011
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, former German placer and now leader of the surveillance sector of the Bayern Munich, described Blatter as “a king without kingdom” and to the FIFA as “a nest of corruption”.
“The FIFA is a nest of corruption and there are proves of it” he said to Kicker Magazine.
About Joseph Blatter, president of the FIFA, and who was re-elected for the next years, Rummenigge said that he is a “king without kingdom”.
And the German added “the Kingdom does not longer depend on him, but of those who chose Blatter. Tomorrow the kingdom will have a new king”.
“Personally, I won’t stop talking and denouncing the corruption that takes place in the FIFA”.
The last scandals in which the FIFA was involved had to be with the accusations of bribes in the decision of celebrating the World Cups of 2018 and 2022 in Russia and Qatar respectively.
