The end of an era: Atlantis landed on Earth

United States, July 21, 2011
The landing of the space shuttle Atlantis marks the end of the an era in space traveling. New models will be now used by NASA.
The space shuttle and its four member crew landed during the night in the Kennedy Space Center of Cabo Cañaveral, Florida, at 5:57 AM local time (10.57 AM GMT).
Hundreds of spectators gathered near the lane to welcome Atlantis, which slided through a clear moon light to complete a 13-day-cargo-mission to the International Space Station.
The new project for space shuttles is the Constellation, but it has been put on hold by President Barack Obama due to its costs.
