The cause of male infertility was discovered

A group of American specialists from the University of California Davis did a new study on masculine infertility. They would have found the cause for it.

In its research, they proved that “the mutation of a gene of a sperm protein may be the why of the infertility problems of men”.

The investigation was centred in “a protein that covers the sperm and allows them to move faster towards the egg to fertilize it, which may explain why certain men are more infertile than others”.

The report alerts that “one fourth of all masculine population carries this defective gene”.
