Manchester City gets tempted with Aguero
U.K., July 19, 2011
Manchester City’s coach Roberto Mancini said he is likely to go for the transfer of Sergio Aguero. He would go to the English club for € 45 million.
“I have not spoken to anyone about it but probably. I think so,” Mancini said on the chance of signing the “Kun”.
Meanwhile, midfielder Gareth Barry said he’d love to see Aguero playing for the “Citizens”. “Aguero is a very exciting player from what I have seen on TV. He is a class act. Names like that will excite fans and the players,” he said.
He too spoke about Tevez’s decision to leave the club. “There has obviously been the odd chat about Carlos. He has made it clear he is ready to leave and the players will respect his decision.”
“We would be sad to lose him because he is a class player who has worked really hard for the club. He has helped the club win its first trophy and he has always given 100 per cent. We are grateful for that.”
