What is Tecnopolis

BUENOS AIRES, July 14, 2011

President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner inaugurates this afternoon in Villa Martelli, Tecnopolis: an important fair of science, technology and art.

The place of 50 acres is located in General Paz Avenue between Constituyentes and Ricardo Balbín, where the logistics battalion 601 of the Army worked years ago.

The exhibition will show 200 years of Argentina’s technology development history under the motto “The coming Argentina, Today”.

According to show sources consulted by M24Digital, “the exhibition is divided in five continents: Water, Air, Fire and Imagination. All have their own distinctive building.

People will be able to see a prototype of the Argentine satellite and experience the different climates of the whole territory through special tents.

The fair can be visited form this Friday until August 22 from Tuesday to Sunday (12 pm to 9 pm) for free.
