City of Buenos Aires, July 10, 2011

Jorge Macri, after the polls closed, said that the numbers reflect that the PRO handles a difference of about 15 points over the FPV.

Speaking to M24Digital, he said “We want to be cautious, but the numbers we deal with give us the victory, we have 15-point difference (over the Front for Victory)”.

Moreover, Rodriguez Larreta said the voter developed normally and without incident, also thanking the turnout, which exceeded 75%.

The vice-head of government, María Eugenia Vidal, also gave a few words, arguing “from the first day, the PRO said that there would be second round”.

Another of those close to the party who spoke is the Rabbi Sergio Bergman who said “I am very happy and I am very grateful. Clearly, this was not an easy step; I had though it for many years before jumping into politics”.

Finally, Diego Santilli, Minister of Public Space of the City of Buenos Aires, said in a statement to the press and M24Digital that “we wanted to continue. The strength of people give us the conviction that we made a good choice to be in the elections”.
