“Chavez cannot govern from a Cuban clinic,” Caracas Mayor says

Caracas Mayor Antonio Ledezma said in press conference that President Hugo Chavez cannot govern the country from a Cuban clinic.
I don’t talk about the human being, I talk about the responsibility of govern our country. Our national constitution states in its article 18 that Caracas City is the place where the national power stands in”, Alvarez said as an M24Digital correspondent reported.
The official added, it doesn’t prevent the exercise of national power in other paces of the republic”, but “the resident cannot govern the country from a Cuban Clinic”.
“To choose for a health center abroad was a personal decision, when it is well known that in Venezuela we have physicians who are very prestigious beyond the borders”.
