Cristina does not travel to Paraguay on medical advice

President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner will not travel to Paraguay to participate in the Mercosur Summit for medical advice.
As it was reported by the Press of the Nation on its website, the decision is a “way of prevention, according to Wednesday’s episode in which the president suffered a fall that caused a blow to the front and a wound on the scalp.”
The presidential medical unit determined in a statement that, “Under the episode last Wednesday, in which Mrs. President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner suffered a fall that caused a stroke in the frontal and wound on the scalp, this Presidential Medical Unit discourages as prevention mode, making air travel at the moment”.
The text adds, “This precaution is taken because of the provisions for these cases to the changes that normally occur with changes in the altitude of the flight.”
The statement is signed by the Doctor Marcelo Ballesteros.
Anyway, it is clarified that the president can continue developing all of her usual activities.
