Chief of Staff Aníbal Fernández spoke about the serious incidents that occurred yesterday in Nunez, after the River match. “The club must be sanctioned and has to take responsibility for what was damage” he said.
However he separated River fans from the “300 jerks that must be identified and arrested,” who are responsible for the destruction in many shops.
“The thing to do is identify them through the videos and arrest them” said the official in TV statements.
He also said that there was no reason to play behind closed doors, otherwise the conflict would be moved to another sector.
He also repudiated the criticism of Ricardo Alfonsin, who called for the resignation of Security Minister Nilda Garre.
