Boudou as vice-president: The opposition criticized the election of Cristina Kirchner
Argentina, June 26, 2011
Boudou did not escape criticism and the opposition already did theirs.
The candidate for president of the Union Popular party, Eduardo Duhalde, referred to the finance minister and now running mate of Cristina Kircher, saying “We’ve never seen Boudou conditions for making economic decisions”.
Elisa Carrio, presidential candidate for the Civic Coalition, joked about the election of the president “Is there any candidate who calls a minister of economy as vice president. Now the finance ministers are candidates for vice president. We let Alfonso Prat Gay as our finance minister”.
Fernando Pino Solanas, a candidate for governor of Buenos Aires, also released his opinion “They said they were not returning to international organizations, but these will carry Argentina to their reintegration into the so called market of capitals”.
“Dear Vice: An award for inflation. Inflation for all!” said wryly Alfonso Prat-Gay, finance minister of the Civic Coalition, through his Twitter account.
