Chief of Staff is convinced that Cristina wins in first round

Chief of staff Aníbal Fernández said he is convinced that President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner will win first round in the upcoming elections following her announcement to compete for re-election.

“There is no choice but to wait until October 23 but we know the result,” Fernandez said, indicating that the difference with the other candidates is very large and the “Argentines will not leave the country in the hands of improvised.”

He also considered that Argentina had only “two people who could take on such a task: Nestor (Kirchner), who is no more with us and Cristina.”

In this regard he added that there was no doubt that she would be the candidate of the ruling because it is uniquely qualified to “take care of Argentines interests.”

With regard to criticism from the opposition occurred after the announcement of Cristina, Fernandez did not hesitate to discredit especially Eduardo Duhalde and Elisa Carrio.

Duhalde “unknown Argentine policy of the last five years and has taken this habit of offending the president whenever he has opportunity.”

“From Carrio we can not expect anything. It should be very strong to be so stupid to say that the President wears mourning for marketing,” he said.

On the media as Clarín, La Nación and TN news channel said they have “the vocation of the hate prophets whenever they sought to grind and polish the work of a proposal to the Argentine by the President of the nation.”
