Line 60 workers suspended strike

Unionist Pablo Caballero announced that line 60 workers temporarily suspended the strike planned for tomorrow.

The decision tries to unlock the negotiations for wage disputes with the aim of reaching an agreement to meet the workers needs.

So the strike was suspended until tomorrow at 10.30 am, when a new meeting with the Ministry of Labour, the Ministry of Transportation and the company will take place.

If their demands are not considered evacuated as necessary, workers said they will resort to strike instantly.

Unionist Nestor Marcolín had said that “the Labor Ministry released an order on May 26, intimating to the company within 48 hours to pay the wage gap, and that period expired last Tuesday.”
