Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez spoke about the historical Boca Juniors striker, his time in England and his new Foundation (see note).
“I never felt safer playing in attack with Martin Palermo. He always found the way to score. I do not see that in Cristiano Ronaldo or Rooney. And that gives you great confidence,” said the “Apache” about his ex teammate.
On his way through Britain, Tevez said: “In my first year in England I wanted to quit football. I wanted to go home. ‘What club did you bring me to?’ I told my agent when I played in West Ham”.
The striker also spoke about the Foundation Carlos Tevez: “As a kid nobody gave me a hand. So we will do everything possible so that the foundation has significant support to help everyone (… ) with a little of all we will reach many.”
Finally, he thanked people for supporting me to play the Copa America and added: “Now everything depends on me and everything is in my hands.”
