De Narvaez and Alfonsin will present their alliance in La Plata

Buenos Aires Province, June 3, 2011

The presidential candidate of the Radical Civic Union, Ricardo Alfonsin, will formalize the rupture of the Progressive Front and his pact with the center-right Union Celeste y Blanco, of Francisco de Narvaez, in a ceremony in the city of La Plata.

From 10:30 on the Athens Club, Alfonsin will share the stage with De Narvaez for the first time to announce the alliance between their forces.

On this day, the Socialist Mayor Miguel Lifschitz was astonished by the right turn which Alfonsin selected. ”Young and historical people who joined UCR on the ethical positions of the father of Ricardo Alfonsin should be very surprised”, Lifschitz had indicated.
