Cristina: “There was never so cordial dialogue between Mexico and Argentina”
MEXICO CITY, May 30, 2011.- President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner is on official tour of the Aztec nation and gave a press conference with his counterpart, Felipe Calderon, in which she highlighted the cordial dialogue between the two countries.
“There was never so cordial dialogue between the United States of Mexico and Argentina,” the president said after apologizing for the previous visit that had been frustrated because a small health problem.
Cristina said “our trade has grown, but it grew because the chances of Argentina and Mexico have no roof.”
She added: “I believe that our commitment is the struggle for equality.”
The president said that “the great challenge of our generation, the generation of the Bicentennial, is to create a firm basis for those who come after us, the twenty-first century generation.”
At the same time she stressed that “Mexico has grown very rapidly” and “Argentina has led the most significant growth in its 200 years of history.”
