San Luis elections to be held on the same day as national

SAN LUIS, May 17, 2011.- San Luis Governor and presidential candidate Alberto Rodriguez Saa announced that elections in the province will be held the same day as national, Sunday October 23.

San Luis people will elect a new governor, 26 congressmen and 42 mayors.

The announcement was made by Rodriguez Saa on Channel 13 in San Luis, during the broadcast of news program.

Thus, the governor dismissed August 14 for provincial elections, which would take place in accordance with the primary. It generates opposition as it did not meet the deadlines set by electoral law.
