Boudou would be almost confirmed as the candidate of the FpV in the City

City of Buenos Aires, May 13, 2011

Sources of the ruling party indicated to M24Digital that the Minister of Economy, Amado Boudou, would be almost confirmed as the official candidate to head of Government of the Federal Capital of the Frente para la Victoria.

As explained before, Boudou has been meeting for “several hours” with President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner during the week and, although the reasons are unknown, this would give evidence that he would be the favorite of the president to go to the City.

The corridors of the Casa Rosada took the news with surprise. It had long been considered the candidate would be Daniel Filmus.

The senator was above in the polls and had picked up more cultural adherence than Boudou. However, as assured to M24Digital, “his (the minister) charisma is worth alone 5 extra points.”

FPV reaches the July elections supported by 10 parties and 2 adhering lists: the one of Nuevo Encuentro, of Martin Sabbatella, and the one of Anibal Ibarra.
