Strike in Santa Cruz: “Since August of last year we want to discuss salaries”

The strike of teachers in Santa Cruz, which is claimed by a wage increase and beatings are reported UOCRA, is on since one month (from 15 April) and it is “indefinite.”

Delegate Monica Galvan spoke today on the subject and said: “We are with this strike action since 15 April, with an indefinite strike, following the beating of the UOCRA gang.”

“We since August last year we are demanding better pay and we’re hoping that the government calls for a salary meeting,” Galvan said.
