City of Buenos Aires, May 10, 2011
The telecommunications company directed by Telecom Italy will receive an investment of about “10 billion pesos”, said the head of the enterprise, Franco Bernabe. He further said that “Europe and the United States have adjustment problems”.
Bernabe indicated that what drove him into the decision was “the commitment to the country and to Telecom Argentina”, and added that “in October, after much time, we got hold of the company and that is a very strong compromise of attention towards the Government, towards Telecom, and towards the country”.
That is why, the entrepreneur explained, “10 billion pesos, which is 2 billion Euros,” will be invested in Argentina.
“The emergent countries such as India, China Brazil and even the Argentina are those that push global growth, while Europe and the United States have adjustment problems”.
