Pakapaka is already on DirecTV
BUENOS AIRES, May 4, 2011.- The children’s channel ‘Pakapaka’ was finally incorporated into the grid of DirecTV, after months of complaints.
From today at 7 pm, the first public children’s channel in Argentina can be tuned in the number 303 of DirecTV. Meanwhile, in Telecentro kids can enjoy this interesting proposal on Channel 23.
National Government spokesmen expressed the need for companies “still do not comply with the Broadcasting Act” (among which is Cablevision) to join the transmission of this channel for “all kids can enjoy it as it represents and respects them as citizens, builders and thinkers of his own reality.”
Pakaka is an initiative that was born on September 17, 2010 and its creators opt to “erect a place of dialogue with the school and a fun and imaginative space.”
