Del Potro continues steadily in Madrid

MADRID, May 4, 2011.- Argentine tennis player Juan Martin Del Potro easily beat Croatian Marin Cilic 6-3, 6-0 in one hour and three minutes of play in the 1000 Madrid Masters.

Despite the pain in his hip, Delpo was able to defeat Croatian uncomplicated. He broke his opponent serve in the first game and that advantage allowed him to win the set. In the second, Cilic showed no resistance and it was used by the Argentine.

Now, Delpo awaits Rafael Nadal, who beat Marcos Baghdatis 6-1, 6-3.
