Argentina tied with Ecuador

The team led by Sergio “Checo” Batista drew 2-2 with Ecuador in the stadium José María Minella, Mar del Plata. The Argentina had turned with the goals of Hauche and Yacob, when Quiñonez had opened the account, but Castillo tied in the second half.

At 26 minutes, with little justice, Ecuador won in a match with a goal of Quiñones. However, Claudio Yacob (31 ‘) and Gabriel Hauche (34′) put a little more reality to the marker.

The Argentine team was pressing in the second half. Yacob’s injury was pitiful, but Batista was glad to see the good football displayed by the Selection. However, at ‘20, Roberto Silvera wrongly charged a penalty for Ecuadorian Segundo Castillo, who turned it into the final equalizer.
