Man stabbed in a Buenos Aires’ hospital (video)

Yesterday, a 22-year-old was stabbed in the throat while awaiting for medical care in the Santojanni Hosptial in the neighborhood of Liniers.

As recounted the boy’s father, Reuben, “He was sitting next to me in the guard, this man came with a knife and buried it into my son’s throat.”

The boy underwent surgery and is in intensive care in a serious condition. The father said, “he is struggling between life and death.”

The attack has two peculiarities. As shown in the video, the attacker goes directly to the young man and, without speaking or hesitation, he sticks the knife. It also occurs during the crisis over the police presence in hospitals, which is now private contractor hired by the Government of the City of Buenos Aires.
