Urtubey responds to Pino Solanas
BUENOS AIRES, April 14, 2011.- The re-elected governor of Salta Juan Manuel Urtubey responded the criticisms from the CGT as well as the Projecto Sur leader Pino Solanas.
Pino had said that the “poorest provinces do not have a high quality of voting” for the election results in Salta, where Urtubey won with almost 60%.
“The Buenos Aires intellectuals believe that all who do not vote as they want, are crude and uneducated” Urtubey criticized at a meeting of ex-combatants.
He added: “The opinion of outsiders is the people who do not know us and do not know which our priorities are.”
With regard to the storm of criticism that came from the CGT, after he said that Hugo Moyano ‘scares votes’, Urtubey assures that it was “a purely political issue, which never was a union matter
“Moyano came to Salta to make party politics, not political union and I do not interfere in internal union,” the governor said.
“When we are discussing a policy, we can not shield in a figure union. I find that immature,” he said.
