Sabbatella: “The steps taken into security of Macri lack in seriousness and authority”
City of Buenos Aires, April 14, 2011
National MP Martin Sabbatella of Encuentro por la Democracia y la Equidad (EDE) criticized the lack of security policies of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires. He accused of Macri “victimizing himself” and said his actions “take away authority” over the issue.
On the radio, the former mayor of Moron said: “I think permanently Mauricio Macri shows a degree of inefficiency in managing forces. I think he kicked the ball long out of its responsibility and has proved inefficient in every situation he faces.”
“I think the steps taken by Macri in security take away seriousness and the authority to speak on the subject. The question is what to do. What is the role of the Metropolitan,” he added.
The deputy also spoke of the elections, in which he participates as a candidate for Governor of the Province of Buenos Aires. He also said that he “never spoke” with the Front for Victory to accompany Cristina Kirchner.
“The formula has to be chosen by the President. What I believe important is that Cristina is reelected, I think the country needs it,” Sabbatella said, adding that for his part “I’m running for governor for the province of Buenos Aires, and I think it is fitting I tell you what I have to do and not talk about scenarios that are not true, because we have never spoken of this.”
