The president does not travel to Mexico
BUENOS AIRES, April 13, 2011.- Argentina President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner can not travel to Mexico on Thursday, as it was planned, because the presidential doctors advised her to rest another 24 hours after the episode or arterial hypotension suffered yesterday.
The news was confirmed by presidential spokesman Alfredo Scoccimarro to M24Digital.
Cristina was scheduled this official trip to Mexico, where the main objective was to strengthen trade.
While the official statement indicated that the president had “made satisfactory progress of arterial hypotension suffered on the eve”, the doctors recommended more rest.
