Garre said the conflict of the police in Buenos Aires “is over”

Security minister Nilda Garre terminated the conflict of the police in the city of Buenos Aires, and talked about the complaints to the Federal old direction.

Garre said the decision to transfer the Federal Police on the streets alone “is a matter over,” and that “the fundamental objective is to be more effective in the street.”

She also requested “not to overdimension” the issue and said she will not go to the Legislature of Buenos Aires as “a local authority can not invite a national minister (to give an explanation), it is a jurisdictional issue.”

Also, the Security Minister said that her previous statements against the old direction of the Federal were based on “number of complaints that neighbors bring specific situations.”
