Stolbizer seeks an agreement with Solá
BUENOS AIRES, April 3, 2011.- GEN Party leader Margarita Stolbizer said is looking for an agreement with Peronist Felipe Sola, with the aim of carrying out a “Progressive Front” next to Alfonsin and some sectors of socialism to cope with better opportunities to Kirchnerism in the October elections.
“The broad and progressive front must recognize the Peronists who renounce the conservative choice embodied by Macri, Duhalde and De Narvaez, and the corrupt of Kirchner. Under these conditions Solá and others may be invited to assemble an alternative that can govern Argentina,” Stolbizer said.
“If Felipe is no place in the Federal Peronism and he knocks the door, that would be an interesting contribution,” she added, while Solá already expressed his disagreement with Eduardo Duhalde and his allies. “It’s not a clear choice of power,” he said at the time.
On the other hand, the Progressive Front also runs the names of former Economy Minister Roberto Lavagna, as this would provide “predictability” to the project in this sector, as they claim.
