Alfonsín expressed his denial to make alliances with other political parties
Argentina, April 3, 2011
Ricardo Alfonsin, presidential candidate of the Radical Civic Union, argued today against a possible alliance of his party with the PRO and PJ dissident for October, calling the maneuver “an anti-electoral move”.
Alfonsin showed his differences with Cobos and Sanz, who had expressed their intention to enter into agreements with other opposition parties.
In this regard, Alfonsin cataloged the idea as “irresponsible to the electorate”.
“Faced with the eventual construction of an electoral front to collect even those who think differently in order to compete with the government, I affirm my belief in the need to strengthen the front that we are building with GEN, Socialism, Meeting People and other sectors with which we share identities and visions for the country we want” said Alfonsin.
