Messi: “I have the heart split between Argentina and Spain”

Lionel Messi confessed his love for two countries that most contributed to his life,Argentina and Spain. He said he has “a split heart” between the two nations, but ”first and foremost I am Argentine.”

In an interview to be published tomorrow, the 10 of the National Team said: “I’m Argentine and I will be so forever. I’ve been in Spain for a long time and I feel good.”

It was in this sense that Messi admitted: ”I have a little split in my heart, but first I am Argentine.”

The striker said also that most of his ”personal attachments and memories” are in Rosario, in his father’s house, not in Barcelona.
