Messi may not play due to a torn muscle

As we are hours away of the Costa Rica-Argentina friendly match, Sergio Batista had to confirm that Lionel Messi will not be able to play today.

The medical report of the AFA, done by doctor Daniel Martinez, states that Messi suffers from a torn muscle in the right leg.

The participation of “the Pulga” was already complicated due to Barcelona’s request of him not playing, due to its tight agenda.

Still, Batista waits with hope to see the crack get better. Messi is doing some excersises with Barcelona’s fisiotherapist Juanjo Brau in order to play today.
