Falcioni: “Palermo will be on from the start despite the good moment of Viatri”
City of Buenos Aires, March 28, 2011
Coach of Boca Juniors Julio Cesar Falcioni announced some changes for the game against Estudiantes de La Plata. He confirmed Palermo in the team, despite the “good moment” of Lucas Viatri.
After getting his first victory in 5 games, Falcioni has decided to trust in Martin Palermo, despite his lack of goals in this tournament.
Former coach of Banfield said that “Palermo will be on from the start despite the good moment of Viatri”, and added: “We shall see how are the players after yesterday’s match tomorrow, and will analyze if we keep our strategy or not against Estudiantes”.
Falcioni also commented on the alleged fight with Juan Roman Riquelme. He said: “The chat I had with Riquelme was normal, from coach to player. I understand that there are decisions he or the fans don’t like, but the idea is to do the best for the team. He understood that and made himself available”.
